- Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the foldable iPhone Duo on Wednesday, confirming the new models, accessories and software updates shown at its Sept. 9 event.
- The iPhone 18 Pro models run Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, the company’s first 2nm design, which doubles Neural Engine cores to 32 and raises memory bandwidth to support heavier AI models on device.
- Both Pro phones include a 48MP main sensor with a mechanically variable aperture that switches between f/1.48 and f/4.0, plus new Pro camera controls, ProRAW/ProRes support and a reference tool called SynthID for cryptographic image provenance.
