Apple Reportedly Developing 'Charismatic' Smart-Home OS for 2026 Launch

  • Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is developing Charismatic, a dedicated smart-home operating system likely to be marketed as homeOS.
  • The interface reportedly combines tvOS and watchOS design elements, including a hexagonal grid of circular app icons, customizable clock faces, widgets and a voice-first Siri interaction model.
  • Using a front-facing camera, Charismatic will support multi-user profiles that automatically adjust layouts and content to individually recognized users.
