Apple Releases iOS 18.3 Public Beta with Limited New Features

Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 18.3, alongside other platform updates like macOS Sequoia 15.3 and iPadOS 18.3.
The update is light on new features, with the most notable addition being early support for robot vacuums in the Home app, expected to fully launch in 2025.
Other minor updates include redesigned Camera Control icons in Dark Mode and an option for organizations to disable satellite communication on managed iPhones.
Mac users gain access to Genmoji, previously available only on iPhones and iPads, as part of macOS 15.3.
Future beta updates are expected in January, as Apple’s development team takes an extended holiday break.
