Apple Releases iOS to Fix Advanced Data Protection Bug

The update addresses critical issues with iCloud security and includes other minor bug fixes.

iOS 17.6.1 fixes a bug preventing the enabling or disabling of Advanced Data Protection.
The update is available for iPhones from the iPhone Xs onwards.
Users affected by the bug were not misled about their security status.
iPadOS 17.6.1 and macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 also released with similar fixes.
This is likely one of the last updates before iOS 18 launches in September.
