Final Cut Pro for Mac 11.2 and Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.3 are available now as free updates, with new Mac purchases at $299.99 and iPad access at $4.99 per month or $49 per year in the U.S.
Both Mac and iPad apps unlock ProRes RAW controls for iPhone 17 Pro footage, including exposure, color temperature, tint, and demosaicing adjustments.
Editors can apply Apple’s Log 2 LUT to edit and play back Apple Log 2 footage with preserved scene vibrancy.
Final Cut Camera 2.0 adds open‑gate ProRes RAW capture, Apple Log 2 HDR recording, timecode options, genlock, quick 200mm telephoto switching, and dynamic front‑camera orientation, with features requiring supported models and iOS 26.
Final Cut Pro for iPad introduces a swipe‑down menu bar for commands and shortcuts that requires iPadOS 26, and Apple also updated the Mac companion apps Compressor and Motion.
