- Apple has released release candidate beta versions of iOS 17.2, watchOS 10.2, macOS 14.2, and tvOS 17.2, with final versions expected to be ready this month.
- iOS 17.2 introduces Apple’s Journal app, which uses on-device machine learning to create personalized suggestions for journaling and includes features such as photos, workouts, and interactions as prompts.
- iOS 17.2 also adds collaborative Apple Music playlists, new ‘Favorites’ playlist, iMessage Contact Key Verification, and an additional function to the Action button on iPhone 15 Pro.
- macOS 14.2 adds features such as sticker reactions, the ability to edit playlists, and iMessage Contact Key Verification.
- macOS 14.2 still lacks some features that were delayed from the first Sonoma release, such as PDF intelligent form detection, PDF Enhanced Autofill, and the ability to run multiple timers.
