Overview

  • WWDC 2025, running June 9–13, will introduce Apple’s first system-wide interface overhaul since iOS 7, unifying software across iPhone, iPad, Mac, TV and Watch.
  • The redesign, internally codenamed “Solarium,” applies visionOS’s glass-like aesthetic—translucent menus, rounded squircle icons and floating UI elements—to iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, tvOS 19 and watchOS 12.
  • iPadOS 19 will bring Mac-style productivity upgrades, including enhanced multitasking, flexible app window management and a menu bar when paired with Magic Keyboard.
  • New Apple Intelligence features will include an on-device AI health coach, real-time nutrition analysis via camera and intelligent battery-saving optimizations.
  • For the first time, third-party developers will be able to tap into Apple’s large language models, enabling deep AI capabilities across their apps and the wider ecosystem.
