• New Apple Accounts created in Texas must confirm whether the user is 18 or older, and accounts for minors will be placed in Family Sharing for parental approval of downloads and purchases.
• Apple’s Declared Age Range API is available now and will be updated to deliver the required age categories for new Texas account holders.
• Additional APIs arriving later this year will let developers trigger a system flow to re‑obtain parental consent after significant app changes, and parents will be able to revoke a minor’s access.
