• Playlist folders are introduced in iOS 26 beta, allowing users to group existing playlists into named containers.
• Users can create nested subfolders by mood, activity, artist or custom criteria to refine library organization.
• Music pins feature enables pinning of frequently accessed songs, playlists, albums and artists to the top of the Library tab.
• Sync Library support ensures folder structures and pinned items stay consistent across iOS, iPadOS and macOS.
• On macOS, entire playlist folders can be downloaded for offline listening ahead of the software’s September release.
