Apple Music Classical Now Available on iPad
Version 1.1 introduces a design optimized for larger screens and access to the world's largest classical music catalog.
- Apple Music Classical, an app based on the classical music streaming service Primephonic that Apple bought in 2021, is now available on iPad with the release of version 1.1.
- The iPad version of the app features a new design optimized for larger screens, including a navigation sidebar and media controls toolbar.
- The app offers access to the world's largest classical music catalog with more than 5 million tracks and 1.2 million recordings, including detailed information about composers and conductors, fine-grained search, and specially curated playlists and recommendations.
- The service is available in Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless up to 24 bits, and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos is also supported.
- Despite the new iPad release, there is currently no version for Mac or Apple TV. However, the app is also available on Android devices in every region where Apple Music exists, except for China, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey.
