Apple Maps Integrates Michelin Guide Ratings and Booking in U.S.

Overview

  • Apple Maps now features insights, ratings, and imagery from the Michelin Guide, allowing U.S. users to find Michelin-starred, Green Star, and Bib Gourmand restaurants, as well as Michelin Key hotels.
  • Direct booking for select hotels is now available within the app, with plans to introduce restaurant reservations through Michelin and golf tee-time scheduling via Supreme Golf soon.
  • Upcoming updates will add content from The Infatuation and Golf Digest, further expanding expert-curated recommendations on Apple Maps.
  • Enhanced place cards in Maps include distinctions, detailed descriptions, and professional imagery from partnered sources to enrich the user experience.
  • Apple plans to expand these features to additional regions in the future, aligning with its strategy to integrate premium third-party content across its ecosystem.
