Apple Likely to Launch New iMac and MacBook Pros this October

Upcoming Apple devices to feature updates to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models and iMac; new releases unlikely to disrupt anticipated M3 platform launch set for 2024.

Apple is reportedly preparing to launch several new Mac products, including updates to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, as well as a new iMac at the end of October. These updates will not disrupt the expected 2024 launch of the M3 platform.
The updated MacBook Pro models might not feature the anticipated M3 chipset but instead come with the M2 Ultra available in the Mac Studio. This would pave the way for the M3-powered MacBook Air expected to launch in 2024, without overshadowing its release.
Predictions suggest that although an update to the iMac is expected soon, it is unlikely to come with the M3 chipset. It might, however, shift from the M1 to the M2 platform.
Rumors also suggest that, due to low supplies of the MacBook Pro and iMac models, the new models could be announced as early as the end of this month, just ahead of Apple's earnings call on November 2nd.
The rumors remain unconfirmed, with mixed reports suggesting that no new Mac or iPad models will be released for the remainder of 2023. However, most speculations point towards an update in the MacBook Pro and iMac models soon.
