Overview

• Beta testers can install the second public betas of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26 and tvOS 26 through each device’s Settings app after registering for Apple’s public beta program
• These public betas mirror the fifth developer builds and mark Apple’s second public seeds two weeks after the initial release, following a biweekly cadence ahead of the September rollout
• The updates introduce Apple’s Liquid Glass design, featuring semi-transparent, depth-aware menus and rounded interface elements across all platforms
• Apple Intelligence arrives on device with iOS and iPadOS features like Visual Intelligence, Live Translation, Genmoji and Spatial Scene, while watchOS 26 adds Workout Buddy and Notes and tvOS 26 debuts Music Sing, lyric translation tools and new FaceTime posters
