- The new model is available now with a 1‑meter cable for $39 or a 2‑meter cable for $49 on Apple’s online store.
- Qi 2.2 certification lets the MagSafe charger deliver up to 25W to supported Android phones as well as recent iPhones.
- Full 25W requires a 30W USB‑C power adapter, while iPhone 12 or later reaches up to 15W with MagSafe and iPhone 8 or later reaches up to 7.5W over Qi when using a 20W adapter.
- With iOS 26, all iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 models except the iPhone 16e will support 25W with any Qi2.2 charger, expanding beyond Apple’s puck.
- Magnetic alignment applies to iPhone 12 through iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, though iPhone Air tops out at 20W for wireless charging.
