Honor Launches Magic8 Phones, MagicPad 3 Line, and MagicOS 10 With AI System Overhaul

  • Magic8 Pro runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 with Honor’s Hyper‑Fusion architecture, AI scheduling, and upgraded cooling, posting an AnTuTu score of 4,288,382 that engineers said was achieved at room temperature.
  • The Pro model features a 6.71-inch 1.5K LTPO display, a 7,200mAh ‘Qinghai Lake’ battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging, IP68/IP69/IP69K durability, dual 1216 speakers, and dual 3D biometric unlock with chip-level dual TEE.
  • Imaging on Magic8 Pro includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch periscope telephoto at f/2.6, launching under the ‘Night God’ imaging brand that Honor says it trademarked last year.
  • Honor also unveiled MagicPad 3 Pro, billed as the first tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5, starting at 3,799 yuan, alongside MagicPad 3 from 2,699 yuan, and rolled out MagicOS 10 with the self-evolving YOYO agent and initial upgrades live for 12 devices.
