- The WWDC unveiling introduced a Liquid Glass design language that applies translucent, glass-like visuals across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and visionOS Key iPhone enhancements include native Custom Ringtones, AI-driven Call Screening and Hold Assist, Polls in Messages, AutoMix in Apple Music and an Adaptive Power Mode
- Apple Intelligence features such as Visual Intelligence screenshot analysis and system-wide Live Translation require an iPhone 15 Pro or later to operate
- iOS 26 is currently in developer beta, with a public beta expected in early July and a full rollout slated for September alongside the iPhone 17 series
- Supported on iPhone 12 and newer models, iOS 26 reserves select AI-powered tools for devices meeting Apple Intelligence hardware requirements
