Overview
- Apple opened reservations Tuesday, Oct. 13, for HomeView priced at US$299 with shipments scheduled to start on Nov. 13 in selected markets.
- HomeView packs a 7‑inch Liquid Retina screen, A18 chip, 12MP Center Stage camera, integrated speakers and four mics to run Siri with on‑device processing for privacy.
- The display recognizes up to six household members by face to show personalized widgets and it syncs Siri conversations across users’ Apple devices.
- Apple also unveiled an Apple Home Collection of cameras, locks and thermostats co‑developed with LG and Schneider Electric to expand device compatibility and accelerate adoption.
- Apple will not sell HomeView in the European Union at launch because Siri’s Apple Intelligence features are not enabled there, which will limit early reach while the company expands language and regional support.
