The affected devices were manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, and can be verified using a serial number checker on Apple's website.
Eligible iPhone 14 Plus units can receive free repairs at Apple Stores, authorized service providers, or through mail-in service.
Customers who previously paid for repairs related to this issue can request a refund from Apple, provided they have the original repair invoice.
The repair program covers affected devices for three years from the date of purchase, although it does not extend the standard warranty.
