Overview
- Apple announced the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the new iPhone Air, priced from $799, $1,099, $1,199, and $999, respectively.
- The iPhone Air measures 5.6mm with a titanium frame, includes a 6.5-inch 120Hz ProMotion display, a single 48MP Fusion camera, Apple’s A19 Pro chip, N1 wireless and C1X modem, and is eSIM-only worldwide.
- iPhone 17 Pro models adopt a horizontal “plateau” camera bar housing three 48MP cameras with up to 8x optical zoom, add an Apple-designed vapor chamber for cooling, switch to an aluminum chassis, and feature larger batteries.
- The standard iPhone 17 moves to a 6.3-inch 120Hz ProMotion screen, runs the A19 chip, and introduces a 48MP Fusion camera system with an upgraded 18MP Center Stage selfie camera.
- All models now start at 256GB of storage, and for the first time Apple is offering a 2TB option on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, alongside new accessories including AirPods Pro 3 with Live Translation and a PPG heart-rate sensor and Apple Watch Ultra 3 with satellite communications.
