Overview

  • Emoji Game is available today to Apple News+ subscribers in the U.S. and Canada on iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4 or later.
  • Players fill in short phrases by dragging standard and AI-generated Genmoji into blank spots to solve puzzles in as few moves as possible.
  • Daily challenges track scores and streaks on Game Center leaderboards with easy sharing via Messages, Mail and social apps.
  • Emoji Game becomes the fifth daily puzzle title in Apple News+, joining Crossword, Mini Crossword, Sudoku and Quartiles.
  • Later this year, the standalone Games app in iOS 26 will add friend-versus-friend matchups for Apple News+ puzzles.
