Overview

  • AppleCare One became available in the U.S. on July 24, replacing one-time AppleCare+ purchases with a single monthly subscription plan
  • The service starts at $19.99 per month for up to three devices, with each additional device costing $5.99 per month
  • Subscribers receive all AppleCare+ benefits—including unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery coverage and priority support—plus new theft and loss protection for iPad and Apple Watch
  • Users can add devices up to four years old and in good condition, and some products may trigger a “Requires device check” prompt for remote or in-person verification
  • Existing AppleCare+ plans are automatically canceled upon enrollment and unused portions are refunded via an Apple Gift Card or credit note
