- Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman pins Apple’s event to the week of September 8, most likely on September 9 or September 10, with pre-orders expected shortly thereafter.
- The series will comprise four models—the standard iPhone 17, ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max—with the Air replacing the Plus variant.
- Non-Pro models are reported to ship with the A19 chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM, while Pro variants will use the more powerful A19 Pro processor alongside 12 GB of RAM.
- Display configurations are set at roughly 6.3 inches for iPhone 17 and 17 Pro, 6.5 inches for iPhone 17 Air and 6.9 inches for iPhone 17 Pro Max, all featuring 120 Hz OLED panels.
- Apple’s custom Wi-Fi 7 chip will enhance wireless performance and frame materials will be split between aluminium for most models and titanium exclusively for the Air.
