Apple Introduces iCloud Passwords Extension for Firefox on Mac

Apple has launched an official iCloud Passwords extension for the Firefox browser on macOS Sonoma and later versions.
The extension allows users to autofill passwords stored in iCloud Keychain and save new ones directly to the cloud for cross-device synchronization.
It also includes the ability to generate verification codes for two-factor authentication by interacting with QR codes.
The extension was originally developed by a third-party developer but has since been acquired and updated by Apple for official distribution.
While the extension enhances Firefox compatibility on Mac, it is not yet available for Windows, where users must rely on the iCloud for Windows app for similar functionality.
