  • Genlock synchronization is supported for frame‑accurate multicam shoots, with a new API already implemented in Blackmagic Design’s Camera ProDock.
  • Manual Center Stage controls extend across the iPhone 17 lineup, leveraging a larger square front sensor to record horizontal or vertical video without rotating the phone.
  • Additional pro options include Apple Log 2 recording, selectable timecode modes, and ProRes capture from the new 200 mm telephoto up to 4K60 on iPhone 17 Pro.
  • The app will be a free App Store update later this month, requiring iPhone XS or newer on iOS 18.6 or later, with some features limited to iPhone 17 Pro or newer software.
