Apple Intelligence to Launch in German and Seven Other Languages This April

Apple's AI system will expand globally with iOS 18.4, offering localized features while prioritizing user privacy.

Apple Intelligence, the company's AI system, will be available in German and seven additional languages, including French, Spanish, and Chinese, starting April 2025.
The update will roll out with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, marking the first time the system is accessible to EU users.
Developers can already test beta versions of the software, which introduces features like advanced text editing, AI-generated emojis, and improved Siri capabilities.
Apple Intelligence processes many tasks locally on devices to enhance privacy and employs 'Private Cloud Compute' for more complex operations without retaining user data.
The AI system will also debut on the Apple Vision Pro in April, though initially only in U.S. English, with language expansions expected later.
