Overview
- Apple’s updated support page sets February 10, 2026 as the final end-of-support date for the previous Apple Home architecture.
 - After the cutoff, homes that do not migrate may experience failures controlling accessories and automations, and the Home app will no longer work on older OS versions.
 - The updated system requires at least iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, macOS 13.1, tvOS 16.2, or watchOS 9.2, which means unsupported devices will lose Home access.
 - Apple says customers who do not update manually may be upgraded automatically, and all homes owned by the same account are updated together.
 - The new architecture adds guest access, robot vacuum support and Activity History with faster, more reliable performance, and users can update via Home app > More > Home Settings > Software Update > Update Now.
