Apple Expands Tap to Pay on iPhone to Nine More European Countries

The contactless payment feature now supports businesses in Poland, Bulgaria, Finland, and six other nations, marking one of its largest rollouts since the 2022 launch.

Tap to Pay on iPhone allows businesses to accept contactless payments directly on their iPhones without requiring additional hardware.
The feature has expanded to Poland, Bulgaria, Finland, Liechtenstein, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Hungary, bringing the total number of supported European countries to 19.
Tap to Pay supports Apple Pay, contactless credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets, with transactions secured via NFC technology and PIN entry options for accessibility.
Apple has partnered with local payment providers like Adyen, Revolut, Mollie, and others to ensure widespread adoption in each country.
The feature is compatible with iPhone XS and newer models, continuing Apple's strategy to integrate its ecosystem into global business operations.
