Apple Expands Tap to Pay on iPhone to Canadian Businesses

The feature allows merchants to accept contactless payments with just an iPhone, eliminating the need for additional hardware.

Tap to Pay on iPhone is now available in Canada, following its recent launch in Japan.
Canadian businesses can use iPhones to accept payments via bank cards, mobile wallets, and Apple Pay.
Initial partners include Adyen, Moneris, Stripe, and Square, with more to join in the coming months.
The service is available on iPhone XS or newer models with the latest iOS updates.
Apple Stores and merchants like Sephora in Canada will adopt the system later this year.
