  • On July 29, 2025, Apple rolled out point updates across its platforms, including iOS 18.6, iPadOS 18.6, watchOS 11.6, tvOS 18.6, visionOS 2.6, macOS Sequoia 15.6 and HomePod 18.6.
  • iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 resolve a Photos app bug that could prevent users from sharing Memory Movies.
  • The iOS and iPadOS updates introduce a streamlined installation flow for alternative app marketplaces and direct app downloads in EU markets under the Digital Markets Act.
  • All releases address dozens of documented security vulnerabilities—including fixes in WebKit, CoreMedia and Accessibility components—and will install automatically for users with auto-update enabled.
  • These maintenance updates clear outstanding issues and pave the way for Apple’s upcoming fall launch of iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and macOS Tahoe.
