The initial order of 10 million units has been adjusted to a range of 7 million to 8 million units, affecting suppliers such as LG Display, TSMC, Foxconn, and Novatek.
LG Display’s orders were cut in half from the original 6 million to 3 million, while Samsung's orders remained at 4 million units.
The price for the upcoming OLED iPad Pro hasn’t been determined, but it’s likely to be higher than the existing LCD version.
The price hike is due to the cost of the panels, with the OLED iPad Pro panel costing at least $200 per unit.
