Overview

• Apple will embed OpenAI’s GPT-5 in its AI features starting with iOS 26 and parallel updates, delivering enhanced reasoning, voice interaction, video perception and coding capabilities.
• Siri will route complex document, image and web queries to GPT-5 when Apple’s built-in systems require additional AI support.
