Apple Books Launches Year in Review Feature and Unveils Top Titles of 2023

New feature provides personalized reading insights and identifies user's 'reader type', alongside release of most popular books and audiobooks of the year.

Apple Books has launched a new feature called Year in Review, providing users with personalized insights about their reading habits in 2023.
Year in Review offers details such as total time spent reading, the longest book or audiobook read, the series completed, the most-read author and genre, and the highest-rated book.
The feature also identifies a user's 'reader type' based on their reading habits, with six categories including The Contemporary, The Completist, The Seeker, The Wanderer, The Deep Diver, and The Free Spirit.
Apple Books has also released its top books and audiobooks of 2023, with notable titles including Prince Harry's 'Spare', Britney Spears's 'The Woman in Me', and Rebecca Yarros's 'Fourth Wing'.
Year in Review is available for free to Apple Books users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the U.K., and the U.S., and can be accessed on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1.
