Overview
- Amazon is listing the AirPods Max 2 in Midnight at $429, which is $120 off the $549 list price while other colors sit nearer $449.
- Deal trackers say the Midnight price matches a fall Prime Big Deal Days low and represents the best current offer for the Max 2.
- The selective discount appears driven by color and stock levels at Amazon rather than a change in Apple's list price.
- Amazon is also offering the AirPods Pro 3 at $199, a continuing $50 reduction carried through the fall sale period.
- This $429 listing is the second-lowest price tracked for the Max 2 after a limited $399 sale in June, illustrating how seasonal promotions and short-term inventory moves create brief, uneven discounts.
