Prosecutors claim that Maxwell facilitated and participated in the sexual abuse of multiple young girls over a decade, working with Epstein to identify, groom, and transport them to his properties.
Maxwell argues that she was only prosecuted as a proxy for Epstein and that the government breached a non-prosecution agreement made with Epstein in 2007.
The defense also appeals based on a juror's omission about being a victim of child sexual abuse, but prosecutors argue that the juror's mistake does not warrant a presumption of bias.
