• The Court of Appeal cut Curtis’s prison term from four to three years on June 17, 2025.
• A panel of Mr Justice Butcher, Lord Justice Bean and Judge Richard Marks extended her disqualification to seven-and-a-half years, up from six under the original sentence.
• Curtis, who pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving in September and had no prior convictions, was 69 at the time of the crash.
• On June 21, 2023, she pressed the accelerator instead of the brake after stopping outside Withybush Hospital, causing her car to mount a kerb and strike eight-month-old Mabli Cariad Hall’s pram.
• Mabli sustained fatal head injuries and died four days later, prompting moving personal statements from her parents after her final goodbye to grandmother Betty Hall.
