App Code Points to Gemini Usage Dashboard With Quota and Reset Timers

Android Authority reported Tuesday that an APK teardown of Google app v17.18.22 reveals a Gemini dashboard to track AI usage.
The dashboard would show your quota as a percentage, the exact time it resets, and when the figure was last updated.
Strings such as “Resets at [time]” and “Resets 2026 at [time]” hint at daily and longer-cycle reset info placed near the account switcher.
Code also points to an option to set a personal usage limit, which could help heavy users pace requests before hitting a cap.
The same build includes lighter like, dislike, and copy icons that align with YouTube’s style, and none of these features are officially announced or live.
