Overview

• Metropolitan Police were called to Coulter Road, Hammersmith, on 9 February and found Adams dead in her flat after reports of a man trying to break in.
• Prosecutors said she suffered at least ten head injuries, with a mallet recovered bearing her blood and DNA.
• Days earlier, Adams had met Adoum at a homeless shelter, invited him to stay, then wrote a note asking him to leave.
• Officers arrested Adoum as he tried to re-enter the property, and police said he had the suspected murder weapon.
• Judge Nigel Lickley remanded Adoum and said he will impose a life sentence, with the minimum term to be decided at the October hearing.
