Aonic Acquires VR Developer nDreams in $110M Deal

Acquisition to bolster nDreams' future investments and potentially lead to more studio acquisitions

Aonic, a Swedish conglomerate, has acquired UK-based VR developer nDreams for $110 million, marking a significant deal for the VR industry.
nDreams, known for VR titles such as PowerWash Simulator VR and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, will continue to operate under the leadership of co-founders Patrick and Tamsin O’Luanaigh.
Aonic's acquisition will support nDreams' future investments in third-party publishing and potentially more studio acquisitions.
nDreams, which has grown to roughly 250 employees, is looking to seize a 'critical moment for VR and MR' by leveraging Aonic's resources.
nDreams currently has several projects in development across its four internal studios and has partnered with third-party developers on titles due to be unveiled in 2024 and beyond.
