Anya Taylor-Joy to Star in Apple TV+ Series 'Lucky'

Anya Taylor-Joy will star as a woman confronting her criminal past in a bid to escape it and will also serve as an executive producer through her Ladykiller Films banner.
Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine is producing the series, continuing its focus on female-driven stories, with Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas as co-showrunners.
The series marks Taylor-Joy's first major TV role since her Emmy-nominated performance in 'The Queen's Gambit' and follows her recent film successes, including 'Furiosa' and 'The Menu.'
Production is expected to begin in spring 2025, with Apple Studios handling the project under Tropper's overall deal with the platform.
