Overview

• Anvisa’s resolution published on Jan. 7 suspends commercialization, distribution, importation, publicity and consumption of the specified lots.
• Only lot LM283 of Mastromauro Granoro’s Passata de Pomodoro Di Puglia is recalled after pieces of glass were identified.
• Five Neovite Visão batches—25G073, S25C004, S25C003, S25C002 and S25G072—are recalled for using Capsicum annuum as an unauthorized zeaxanthin source and for Caramelo IV above legal limits, with the manufacturer reporting a voluntary recall.
• Anvisa ordered the seizure of Ervas Brasil Indústria’s Vitamina C Sucupira com Unha de Gato and Suplemento Alimentar Colesterol for lacking a sanitary license, using unauthorized ingredients and making unproven therapeutic claims.
