- Anu Malik issued a statement thanking producer Bhushan Kumar and said he has been credited on the Border 2 track, calling contrary reports incorrect.

- ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ is recreated by Mithoon with additional lyrics by Manoj Muntashir and features Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra and Diljit Dosanjh.
- The original 1997 song ‘Sandese Aate Hai’ was composed by Malik with lyrics by Akhtar and was sung by Sonu Nigam and Roopkumar Rathod.
- Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh, produced by T-Series and J P Films, and is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
