Anticipation Mounts as Pre-Orders Open for 'Diablo 4'

The latest installment in Blizzard Entertainment's action role-playing hack-and-slash video game series "Diablo" arrives next week.
Players on multiple gaming platforms will adventure through the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary and shape its fate.
Players can choose from one of five character classes — Druid, Rogue, Sorceress, Barbarian or Necromancer — and embark on a dangerous quest against the forces of the Burning Hells.
Early access starts on Thursday night for players who pre-purchased the digital deluxe or ultimate edition of the game.
Activision Blizzard reported strong presales for "Diablo IV" and revenue of $2.38 billion in the first quarter of 2023.
