Overview

  • Under the GSA OneGov arrangement, Claude for Enterprise and Claude for Government will be available to executive, legislative and judicial branches for $1 per agency for one year, with congressional and judicial access pending final approval.
  • Claude for Government is FedRAMP High certified for sensitive unclassified work and Claude for Enterprise provides expanded data protection, backed by hands-on technical support.
  • Anthropic will enable deployments via existing secure infrastructures through partnerships with AWS, Google Cloud and Palantir to streamline agency integration.
  • The offer follows OpenAI’s $1 enterprise deal and builds on last week’s addition of Anthropic, OpenAI and Google to the GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule for AI procurement.
  • Experts warn that the steeply discounted one-year trial could drive vendor lock-in and high switching costs when standard pricing resumes.
