Overview

• The Model Context Protocol enables Claude for Education to access Wiley’s peer-reviewed library, Panopto lecture transcripts and Canvas course materials within AI study sessions.
• Support for Canvas Learning Tools Interoperability allows students to launch Claude from within their course dashboards without switching platforms.
• New collaborations with the University of San Francisco School of Law and Northumbria University will embed the AI tutor into legal training and advance ethical AI use on campus.
• Privacy safeguards keep student conversations private by default, exclude data from model training and require formal approvals for any institutional data requests.
• These enhancements will roll out in the coming weeks alongside expanded student ambassador initiatives and on-campus Claude Builder Clubs.
