The 23-year-old guard has also accumulated nine technical fouls this season, the most of any player in the NBA.
Edwards' other fines this season include penalties for obscene gestures, profane language, and public criticism of officiating in November and December.
Despite his disciplinary issues, Edwards remains a key player for the Timberwolves, averaging 25.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
