• EA will remove Anthem from its EA Play library on August 15, 2025, preventing new downloads via the subscription service
• The game’s servers are scheduled to shut down on January 12, 2026, after which its always-online design will render it permanently unplayable
• Players who bought Anthem before the purchase cutoff can still download and play the game until the server shutdown date
• BioWare confirmed that the sunsetting process will not result in any staff layoffs at its studios
