ANSES Sets October 22 Start for Second Pension Compensation Tranche

INDEC’s September inflation reading on October 14 will determine November’s mobility increase under the CPI-linked rule.

  • ANSES confirmed the second phase of the Compensación Económica for pensions above the minimum will be paid October 22–28, with DNI endings 0–1 on Oct. 22, 2–3 on Oct. 23, 4–5 on Oct. 24, 6–7 on Oct. 27, and 8–9 on Oct. 28.
  • October benefits carry a 1.88% increase under Decree 274/2024, with minimum pensions reaching $396,298.38 when the $70,000 bonus is included.
  • The $70,000 bonus is paid in full to minimum pensioners and declines progressively for higher benefits to reach the same total, while those exceeding about $396,298 in October do not receive the bonus.
  • After the moved holiday, ANSES resumed the AUH calendar and is paying Tarjeta Alimentar top-ups of $52,250 for one child, $81,936 for two, and $108,062 for three or more.
  • Private estimates of roughly 2.0%–2.2% for September IPC suggest November’s update could lift the minimum-plus-bonus above $400,000, and December will add the mobility increase based on October IPC along with the half-year aguinaldo.
