ANSES Sets January Pension Increase and $70,000 Bonus With New Payment Calendar

A decree links the monthly update to November inflation and limits the non-remunerative bonus to beneficiaries whose total pensions stay below a defined income cap.

Overview

  • The January mobility adjustment of roughly 2.47%–2.5% sets the statutory minimum pension at $349,401.58.
  • ANSES will pay a non-remunerative Bonus Extraordinario Previsional of up to $70,000, credited once per benefit and without deductions.
  • The full bonus applies to low-income groups such as minimum SIPA retirees, PUAM, non-contributory pensions, and the mothers of seven benefit.
  • Eligibility is capped at $419,401.58 in total January prestations, with a variable bonus paying only the difference up to that threshold and no bonus for amounts above it.
  • The official calendar staggers payments by DNI: PNC from January 9–15, minimum-benefit retirees from January 12–22, and higher-benefit pensions from January 23–29.
