Argentina Sets October Pension Increase as Peru Finalizes AFP Withdrawal Schedule

The moves provide cash support within legal frameworks that limit costs, staging payouts over set calendars.

Overview

  • Argentina’s ANSES applied a 1.88% CPI-linked mobility for October, lifting the minimum benefit to about $326,298.38 and taking it to $396,298.38 with the $70,000 bonus for minimum earners, with proportional top-ups up to the capped total.
  • ANSES published the DNI-based October calendar starting Wednesday 8, and warned some dates may be reprogrammed because a national holiday was moved to Friday 10.
  • The 1.88% adjustment also reaches Pensiones No Contributivas, AUH and SUAF, with the maximum pension set near $2,195,679.22 for the month.
  • Peru’s SBS issued Resolution N° 03444-2025 for the eighth AFP withdrawal, allowing up to 4 UIT (S/21,400) with requests from 21 October and payouts in up to four monthly instalments of 1 UIT each.
  • First AFP disbursements are expected from late November depending on request date, applications will be accepted for 90 days via virtual or in-person channels, and up to 30% of each payment can be retained for court-ordered alimentary debts.
