A frozen top-up underscores the government's fiscal restraint under the CPI-based mobility rule.

Overview

  • With the October update tied to August CPI, the minimum pension is ARS 326,298.38 and the maximum is ARS 2,195,679.22, per Resolución 317/2025.
  • Minimum beneficiaries receive the ARS 70,000 bonus in full and those slightly above the minimum get a proportional top-up to a floor of about ARS 396,298.38, extending to PUAM and PNC groups.
  • ANSES’ October calendar starts for minimum pensions on Oct. 8 by DNI and for higher-haber pensions on Oct. 22, with some dates subject to adjustment due to the Oct. 10 holiday.
  • The 1.88% increase also applies to AUH, SUAF and other assignments, and ANSES urges beneficiaries to keep personal and bank details updated in Mi ANSES to avoid payment issues.
  • The 2026 budget text confirms the ARS 70,000 refuerzo will continue without an increase, while in Peru the SBS published the procedure for the eighth AFP withdrawal in four monthly installments after requests open in late October.
